NDVI Surveys
What you can expect with our NDVI Surveys
NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) is a measurement of crop health based on how the plant structures reflect light at certain wavelengths.
We carry out aerial surveys of fields using specialised agricultural cameras during the growing season. The survey data allows farmers to monitor plant health as healthy and unhealthy plants reflect light differently.
Farmers use NDVI surveys to identify irrigation and drainage problems, assess fertilizer requirements, monitor spray program effectiveness and provide early warning of diseases and pests threatening crops.
NDVI surveys are the gateway to Precision Agriculture and enable specific targeted irrigation, fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide applications saving farmers big money on input costs on reducing the environmental impact of farming activities.
Carrying out regular NDVI surveys of your crops will enable you to farm more sustainably, increase your yields and reduce your costs.
